Row 25 (RS): 3tr into the last st of row 24. (Ch1, skip 1 st, tr into the next st) repeat along until 2 sts remain. Ch1, skip 1 st, 3tr into the last st. (65 sts)
Now ch25. Turn. 2dc into the second ch from the hook. 2dc into each ch along. Sl st to last tr of row 25. This creates a fern spiral. You may need to adjust and twist into a spiral to get a neater effect. The spiral does not count towards the st count.
Row 26 (WS): Chainless tr. 2tr into the same st. (Ch1, skip 1 st, tr into the next st) repeat along until 2 sts remain. Ch1, skip 1 st, 3tr into the last st. (69 sts)
Fasten off.
In Cutting
Row 27 (RS): 3tr into the last st of row 26. Tr into each st and ch sp to the last st. 3tr into the last st. (73 sts)
Now ch30. Turn. 2dc into the second ch from the hook. 2dc into each ch along. Sl st to the last tr of row 27. This creates a fern spiral. You may need to adjust and twist into a spiral to get a neater effect. The spiral does not count towards the st count.
Row 28 (WS): Chainless tr. 2tr into the same st. Tr flo into every st across to the last st. 3tr into the last st. (77 sts)
