My first ever garment design, first published in October 2022.

This pattern was born out of using yarn made from seaweed, to try and match a knitting pattern by Adelle from Vegan Yarn, but in crochet. If you look at Adelle’s Boxy Seaweed Top, we got pretty close!

This top is lacy and flattering, with flowing sides. It has batwing shaping once the two panels are seamed together, however the fit is very much up to individual preference. You may prefer a more oversized boxy look which can be achieved by making the top wider. This is a measure-along pattern so is easily adapted.

You can find the pattern on Ravelry here, in both UK and US terms. If you prefer not to use Ravelry, please get in touch and we can organise payment and I can email the pattern to you.

For ease, you can find all my patterns in my Tortie Treblemaker Designs Ravelry Store, by clicking on the turquoise button.
